Policy Title: Holistic Wellness, Financial Coaching Policy & More                         Company: Homestead Holistics Alley, LLC

Purpose
This policy establishes the principles, guidelines, and procedures governing the delivery of complementary Reiki and financial coaching services at Homestead Holistics Alley, LLC. Its purpose is to ensure that all services are provided ethically, safely, and effectively; to protect client well-being and confidentiality; and to support our mission of restoring balance and harmony in mind, body, and spirit.

Scope
This policy applies to:
• All Homestead Holistics Alley, LLC employees, contractors, certified Reiki practitioners, financial coaches, interns, and volunteers (“Practitioners, Masters, Coaches, etc.”).
• All clients who receive complementary Reiki or financial coaching services on-site or via remote sessions.
• Administrative and support staff involved in scheduling, record-keeping, billing, or marketing these services.

Policy Guidelines/Core Principles
a. Wellness Approach: Emphasize the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit.
b. Client-Centered Care: Respect client autonomy, preferences, and cultural background.
c. Professional Integrity: Maintain high ethical standards, confidentiality, and evidence-informed practice.
d. Safe Environment: Ensure a physically and emotionally safe space for all clients and pets.

Practitioner/Coach Qualifications
a. Reiki Practitioners must hold at least Level II Reiki certification from a recognized program and maintain ongoing training education.
b. Financial Coaches hold coaching experience and demonstrate proficiency in budgeting, debt management, and financial planning fundamentals. We do not advise in legal advice as we refer clients to financial wealth advisors at United Iowa Financial (Dee McAlpin) for that information & request that you tell them Ali referred to you them. (Notice: We have no partnership for referrals with this business).
c. All practitioners/coaches must complete Homestead Holistics Alley’s orientation, including our code of conduct, privacy protocols, and emergency procedures.

Service Delivery
A.) Complementary Reiki:
• Session Structure: Initial intake, energy assessment, hand placements, post-session feedback.
• Duration: Typically, 15-90 minutes.
• Environment: Quiet, clean, temperature-controlled room; (optional) soothing music and (optional) aromatherapy.
• Client Involvement: Clients remain fully clothed and communicate comfort levels at all times.

B.) Financial Coaching:
• Session Structure: Financial intake questionnaire, goal setting, action plan development, progress review.
• Duration: 60 minutes per session.
• Focus Areas: Budget creation, cash-flow management, debt reduction strategies, savings and investment fundamentals.
• Client Engagement: Clients may be assigned “homework” such as tracking expenses or updating a budget spreadsheet.​

  • Childcare is not provided for these services.

Client Engagement & Confidentiality
• Informed Consent: Obtain signed consent forms for all services.
• Privacy: Adhere to HIPAA, state regulations, and company confidentiality protocols.
• Records: Secure electronic records with role-based access; retain records per legal requirements.
• Cancellation/No-Show: Clients must provide at least 24 hours’ notice; fees may apply for late cancellations.

  • Definitions & Concepts
    • “Complementary Reiki”: A non-invasive energy-healing method intended to support the body’s natural healing processes.
    • “Financial Coaching”: A collaborative client-driven process designed to improve financial well-being and decision-making skills.
    • “Client Intake”: The process of collecting personal, medical (for Reiki), and financial information to tailor services.
    • “Informed Consent”: A client’s voluntary agreement to services after disclosure of benefits, risks, and alternatives.

  • Procedures & Processes


Client Onboarding:

  • Greet client and explain service offerings.

  • Provide and review consent forms, privacy policy, and fee schedule.

  • Complete intake questionnaire (health history for Reiki; financial profile for coaching).

  • Schedule follow-up sessions or referrals as needed.

Conducting Sessions
• Follow the structured session outlines in 3.3.
• Monitor client comfort; document any adverse events or concerns.
• Encourage client feedback and adjust techniques accordingly.

Record-Keeping & Follow-Up
• Enter session notes into secure client intake form within 24 hours or by the beginning of their appointment.
• Track progress toward client goals; revisit and revise action plans with a follow-up phone call/text the next day from the appointment.
• These records are kept for the annual year & are securely destroyed on an annual bases in January of the following year.

Compliance & Consequences
• All Practitioners/Coaches must comply with this policy, relevant professional codes of ethics, and applicable laws.
• Non-compliance (e.g., breach of confidentiality, unqualified practice) will trigger:
– Verbal warning and retraining
– Written reprimand
– Suspension of privileges or termination, depending on severity
• Clients have the right to report grievances confidentially to the Homestead Holistics Alley, LLC Owner.

 

Disclaimers & Legal Considerations
• Reiki is a complementary therapy and not a substitute for medical or psychiatric care. Clients should consult their healthcare providers for diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions.
• Financial coaching does not constitute legal, tax, or investment advice. Clients should seek specialized professional advice for complex legal or financial decisions. We support and build maintainable monthly budgets for families.
• Homestead Holistics Alley, LLC disclaims liability for outcomes beyond the scope of agreed-upon services.
